Fonts

When submitting a file that is not flattened (files other than jpeg, tiff, bmp) it is recommended that you change all text to outlines or embed the fonts into the file. We prefer that you convert to outlines to ensure that there will be no delay in your order. Otherwise you will need to provide all screen and printer fonts with each document. Include any fonts used by imported graphics. The smallest point size is generally 5 pt, preferably a bold, san serif font.
Use the actual font to create bold, italic, bold italic, etc. Do not use the font attributes on the application level (example: use a Bold font rather than choosing Bold from the Style menu). PC fonts are not accepted. If possible, convert all PC fonts to paths or outlines; otherwise we will substitute MAC fonts to match as close as possible.

Overprint Attributes

Please pay special attention to OVERPRINTING ATTRIBUTES. These attributes will often change the appearance of the final product. We do our best to catch overprinting issues before printing, but they are not always detected. PLEASE PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION NOT TO OVERPRINT WHITE as nothing will appear on the finished product. We are not responsible for incorrectly printed labels with overprinting attributes. You will be charged for the printed labels and any subsequent reprints.

Colors

Colors that we can reproduce are either Spot Colors or CMYK. Make sure all colors are named correctly. If you are working in a few different programs, make sure all colors specified are named EXACTLY the same; otherwise the different named colors will produce extra film/plates. Please remove UNUSED colors from your color palettes. RGB or Index Color Images: Convert all RGB and Index color images to CMYK (RGB will not print correctly).
